Industrial Ultra-pure EDI system principle and operation method

 

Ultra-pure water EDI system adopts advanced reverse osmosis membrane and ion exchange water treatment technology, which is an irreplaceable means in the current production process of ultra-pure water.

Ultra-pure water EDI system has the characteristics of product quality high, uninterrupted product water capacity, simple operation, making it suitable for the electronics industry, laboratories, hospitals, etc.

 

The principle of Industrial Ultra-pure EDI system

 

1. The RO product water is evenly distributed into the fresh water chamber after entering the EDI module.

 

2. The trace ions which are not removed by RO membrane are adsorbed on the membrane surface by the ion exchange resin in the fresh water chamber.

 

3. Direct current is applied to the electrodes at both ends of the EDI module to drive the anions and cations in the fresh water chamber to migrate to the corresponding electrodes to the concentrated water chamber, thereby preparing ultra-pure water.

 

4. Under the action of an electric field, water molecules are ionized into H+ and OH- in large quantities, thereby continuously regenerating the ion exchange resin.

 

The operation method of Industrial Ultra-pure EDI system

 

1. When the industrial ultra-pure EDI system fails, please close the tap water inlet valve immediately, but do not disassemble it by yourself.

 

2. The total product water capacity is related to the quality of the feed water. If the feed water quality good, the total product water capacity will increase, and if the quality of the feed water is bad, the total product water capacity will decrease and the service life of system will be shortened.

 

3. If the industrial ultra-pure EDI system have not used for more than three days, should be repeatedly flushed for 2-5 minutes when it is used again, until the water in the system is exhausted.

 

4. With the long-term operation of ultra-pure EDI system, the product water capacity will gradually decrease, but the product water capacity will still be qualified.

 

The characteristics of Industrial Ultra-pure EDI system

 

1. The voltage regulation range is wide, and the input voltage fluctuates by ±20% and can still be used normally.

 

2. High efficiency, the product has a power factor correction circuit, and the power factor can reach above 0.98.

 

3. The output voltage and current are continuously adjustable, and the voltage and current can be automatically switched.

 

4. The steady flow change from small to large load is less than 0.1%.

 

5. The safety performance is high, the output terminal can be arbitrarily short-circuited without causing damage to the machine, and the short-circuit current can be continuously adjusted.

 

6. Using advanced high-frequency pulse width modulation technology, it has the characteristics of strong stability, high precision, small size, light weight and low power consumption.
