What is the reverse osmosis deionized water system,ro edi plant (EDI) ?

·EDI (Electro deionization), also known as continuous electro-deionization technology, integrates electro dialysis technology and ion exchange technology. Through the penetration of cation and anion membranes on cations and anions, and the exchange of ions in water by ion exchange resins, Under the action of the electric field, the directional migration of ions in the water is realized, so as to achieve the deep purification and desalination of the water, and the filling resin is continuously regenerated by the hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions generated by the water electrolysis.


·Therefore, the EDI water production process does not require acid and alkali chemical regeneration to continuously produce high-quality DI water.


·RO water is not as pure as ion exchanged (DI) water and is often used before the ion exchange process. When using RO water to feed deionizers or ion exchange systems, it extends their life and improves efficiency. In order to achieve high purity water, an RO is normally needed. Also, RO can remove bacteria and water-borne parasites.
